About Us

This lovely showroom was established thirty-five years ago by the same family and is currently in the capable hands of husband and wife team Mark and Sarah.  They are quite passionate about their business and are always busy keeping up with the trends in the fireplace industry (oh yes, even fireplaces have fashions!).  A full in-house installation service is available to those customers purchasing goods from the showroom, if required.  Supply only is also an option for those who have their own installers lined up.  There is not currently an 'installation only' service for goods purchased elsewhere.

 

Customers visiting the showroom in Armstrong Street, Grimsby are welcomed to enjoy looking at the displays at their leisure with the expertise readily on hand when it is needed.

 

Mark is our in-house Gas Safe and HETAS registered installer meaning that none of our fitting work is contracted out, something that is very important to us and our customers.  Mark will also be the person to carry out the site survey prior to you ordering from us, ensuring that he knows exactly what needs to be done and any specific requirements you may have.  Mark is happy to carry out a simple gas fire changeover, a full inglenook fireplace installation or building media walls for electric fires.  A very skilled tradesman, who is something of a perfectionist.  Mark says, "we want to ensure that our fitting service is first class, the type of service that we would expect to receive if we were investing in something new for our home.  We want our customers to love the whole experience of buying from our showroom and that includes the installation."

 

You will find Sarah heading up the showroom and office, keeping on top of the displays and making sure that there is plenty to choose from, whether that be a new gas or electric fire, a traditional or contemporary fireplace, a beautiful inglenook suite or a smart and contemporary media wall and getting your quotations to you promptly and efficiently.  Sarah has been in the fireplace industry for a very long time (we're not giving her age away here!) and has built up quite a knowledge ensuring that your new fire or fireplace doesn't just look great but is suitable for your home too.  Sarah thoroughly enjoys her role in the showroom.  She says, " we look forward to greeting new customer and previous customers to our showroom.  As we have been here for such a long time now we are often seeing customers returning to us for updates to their existing fireplace and sometimes for their new property where they have moved home.  We see children of those clients, now as adults buying their first homes and looking to have a cosy fireplace to gather around.  Plus it's great being able to have a little natter with our long standing clients, who call each year to book their annual gas fire service."

 

With their combined skills, this couple make a great team and you can be sure of a first class service from start to finish.

 

Guide prices can be given in the showroom and you will find everything on display is priced up individually.  Sarah says, "it's a bit like fireplace pick'n'mix - we like to be able to offer the customer the fireplace that is right for them, that might be a surround they see at the front of the store teamed up with a back panel and hearth seen further in the showroom and a fire to suit their home and needs."

 

SITE SURVEYS/HOME VISITS:  We know that you are keen to get cracking with your new fireplace, however, we do ask one thing of customers prior to us making a home visit and that is for you to pop along to the showroom and select your style of fireplace or fire.  We understand there are lots of variables in this industry and what you choose may not always be suitable but when we have a good idea of how you would like your fireplace to look, we can then look at alternatives in the style of your original choice.  Once you have chosen your fireplace requirements, Mark will visit your property to carry out a site survey, then a full written quotation will be provided.  The survey is free in the Grimsby/Cleethorpes/Immingham areas (further afield a small charge may apply).
